2. Invite Us to Speak
If you are a member of an organization that is looking for guest speakers, contact our Speaker's Bureau at speakers.bureau@citizenscoalition.net. We can give a 15 to 30 minute presentation with a question and answer period on topics of importance to the residents of Sussex County.
3. Get Your Homeowners Association Involved
Coalition Board Vice President Gerrit vanBurk is looking for home owner association leaders. If you are a current president or active member of your HOA, please e-mail him at gerrit.vanburk@citizenscoalition.net.
4. Participate in Public Hearings
Speak out at meetings held by Planning and Zoning Commission, County Council, and state-sponsored workshops and hearings. Decisions made by these groups have an impact on the quality of your life.

5. Write Letters to the Editor
Voice your opinion regarding land use and transportation decisions being made which involve your welfare, safety and quality of life. Contact Citizens Coalition President, Mike Tyler, at mike.tyler@citizenscoalition.net to verify facts or confirm information.

Please follow directions for each paper. All publications will ask for your phone number. Keep your letter brief and to the point. Avoid sarcasm and bitter comments.
6. Vote for Change
Elect County Council and State officials who will stand behind the citizens of Sussex County and support responsible land use, managed growth and sustainable development.
